Finished up a recent project called PeakVibe.com! This site uses a few technologies but the heart of it is Angular JS and PHP.
PeakVibe’s focus is on things to do and places to go while visiting the mountain towns and resorts of Colorado.
Angular provides lightning fast event searching and data binding for several key areas. Previously PeakVibe used WordPress as their back-end which worked but grew slow as time went on and was slightly bloated after the site required many add on plugins to function as intended.
On the back side I used the Slim Framework to create a data API for Angular to connect with. This is light and fast to produce the JSON data needed. Very happy with how Slim came together on this. PHP is used of course with Slim and is also sprinkled throughout for various aspects of the site.
